The Connecting Double Crochet is a stitch I use in many of my patterns including my soon-to-be-published Personlized Baby Blocks pattern.

This stitch allows me to join strips or squares as I go instead of having to sew them all together later. The video contains instructions for the Connecting Double Crochet (CDC) and the Chain 2 Join (Ch 2 Join).
