I sat down the other evening to track a week’s worth of weather for my temperature blanket. I logged on to my computer, found the monthly weather view and wrote it down. I really couldn’t remember it being 66 degrees and snowy on my daughter’s birthday, but the computer said it was 66 and I know we woke up to an inch or two of snow. I guess we did?!
Wrong.
I should have known better. It just didn’t look right.
But it was so pretty. Maybe it did get up to 70 last week. Maybe I just wasn’t remembering correctly. I was chomping at the bit to get to use that orange again.
Five squares in my intuition got the best of me. I logged back into weather.com on my phone. Washington, D.C.? Surely my computer wasn’t also set to that?
Running out of steam, I put everything away. Five squares is about 2-3 hours worth of work.
The next day, I looked up the correct weather:
How boring!
More greens, but a couple of yellows. Rain and snow. Every. Day. That seems more likely. I’m guessing the warmer temperatures will be here soon enough and then I’ll be wondering when I’m going to get a color that is not orange or yellow or red.
Today the sun in shining in the window. Spring? Is that you?
