Hook, line, and sinker. I took the word of a this book that told me I could finish a blanket in a weekend.

Maybe someone can. I think this blanket took me 25+ hours. I suppose if I’d done nothing but crochet this weekend.

But I guess in all honesty, I started the blanket on Friday and it is only Tuesday and I still have enough time to write a blog post before midnight, so I’ll say, yes, you can almost get this blanket done in a weekend.

I chose a bold plum color in Red Heart Soft yarn. I am quite happy with it. The pattern is called Just For Her and it is a simple repeat of two main stitches and rows.

I’d tell you all more about this awesome blanket, but it is getting ready to be wrapped and put under the tree.

On to the next pattern. I’ve got the yarn for one more (in this book, silly! I could crochet a house-cozy with all the yarn I have.). We’ll see if I can finish it in a weekend.
