It’s too late to start new Christmas presents (maybe), and I finished my crocheting for the blanket bee (most likely), so I turned my attention back to the Crochet One-Skein Wonders book.
This is actually the second new project I’ve done from the book in the past week, but the first one I’ve finished. After organizing my yarn last week, I only kept the yarn I thought I could use. This cowl was born from a partial skein I had left from a previous project, and it proved to be just enough.
Easy–to–wear Cowl
Project 13/101
This was another project that I worked with the Lion Brand Mandala yarn. I live the weight and the drape of the yarn, even though the factory makes some horrible joins when attaching colors. The original skein also had some green and yellow in it, but I like how the colors ended up here.
The pattern took some getting used to. I was about half done before I had it memorized, but it’s one I would utilize again.
To be honest, this was my first cowl. I never really saw a use for them–not a scarf not a collar. But, after finishing this and putting it on, I like it. Just like the name says, it’s easy to wear!
This cowl is for sale on my Etsy site.
