The seventh scarf of my scarf challenge is a ribbed scarf. I couldn’t find a pattern that was exactly what I was looking for, so I wrote my own. The name was inspired by the color of yarn that I chose.
It looked exactly like a Snowy Owl to me. Do you see it?
The scarf itself is thick and warm. I was working a nice hat to go with it when I ran out of yarn, so I changed it to a headband. Works for me! The kids have enjoyed trying this one on too!
The way the ribbing is worked, it looks like a waffle stitch on the opposite side, so it’s kind of two scarves in one. Whatever it is, it will keep you warm on a long, wintery walk. It made me sweat while I modeled it!
