I’ve been chugging along on my scarf challenge. Number 6 is finished. It was actually finished a week ago, but I had to put some fringe on the end, which obviously seemed like an insurmountable task!
This deep teal scarf is a scarf for dressing up. It’s not going to keep you super warm, but it sure would look nice with a gray or black dress on Sunday morning.
The pattern was 220 Sport Prince Edward Island Scarf by Kristen Stoltzfus and distributed by Cascade Yarns. It was another one of the kits I got off of Craftsy. This pattern was worked long ways in the round, so it started with little loops. It seemed overwhelming at first, but once I got started it moved along quickly.
The scarf itself is about 5″ wide by 7′ long (including the fringe). It will be a very versatile piece in the wardrobe.
My next challenge will be the Broomstick stitch. I’ve never done it before and it looks quite intimidating.
All of my scarves are currently still for sale on my Etsy shop for $20 each. Feel free to browse around–the holiday season is coming up, and now is the perfect time to shop!
