I had leftover yarn from my dragonfly blanket. Not a lot of yarn, but just enough for something small and cute and cuddly.
An elephant lovey.
It’s hard to imagine this pile of yarn becoming a cute little elephant, but these are all the parts. I couldn’t sew it together because I was waiting for my safety eyes (remember how much I love safety eyes?) to arrive in the mail (those are them up top–a whole, big box of eyes and noses!).
Using a pattern from Hooks & Heels, I was able to create this cute little elephant lovey. The gray pieces slowly became a head.
And then with some quick sewing, the project was complete! I have to say, for as much as I hate doing amigurumi, the end result is super adorable.
Another favorite? For sure!
